I am a single mother to two children, working full time. Sleep training wasn’t a luxury for me. It was a necessity. I worried that I would be a danger to my patients if I were sleep deprived.
I also needed sleep to be the loving parent that I wanted to be.
But imagine my surprise when I discovered that sleep training meant my babies were happier too. The evening witching hour disappeared. They woke up happy. They were better able to focus and play and learn. They learned to love their cribs, and even now, will ask to be put to bed when they are tired.
Sleep training turned out to be the ultimate gift for our family. It was so empowering that I wanted to share that gift with others, leading me down the path to become a certified pediatric sleep consultant.
